Men's Health is delighted to announce that they have reached a deal with PharmaCare International to supply the most potent and high-potency prescription medicine, Viagra. The Chinese Food and Drug Administration (CFFA) has issued a warning to consumers not to purchase or use Viagra after it was linked to a potentially deadly case of anaphylaxis, a potentially fatal allergic reaction.
The CFFA’s alert comes as a number of websites that claim to sell Viagra have been seized.
The CFFA’s CFFA Meds and Online Pharmacies website claims to sell a product called “Sildenafil Citrate,” which is not approved by the Food and Drug Administration for the treatment of erectile dysfunction.
On the consumer-level side, a company called Viagra is sold under the brand name “Sildenafil” (as “Viagra”). Viagra is the generic version of the drug.
According to the CFFA Meds website, the patient information leaflet contains information about the possible side effects of Viagra.
The CFFA added that this warning came after a study found that the medication had an interaction with sildenafil, a prescription drug used to treat erectile dysfunction.
The FDA has not commented on the CFFA’s findings.
